Froggy is a very handsome and distinguished guy who was turned in to rescue by his owners. They were an older couple with failing health and no longer able to care for him. He was overweight and out of shape, but we have all that taken care of. Froggy is pure dachshund! He is smart, determined, and loves to hunt for small critters in the back yard. He loves to cuddle with his foster brothers and sister and has never met a person he didn't like.
He will snuggle up for lots of petting ANY time! Froggy is such a social guy that we prefer he goes to a home where he'll have other dog buddies or his owner is retired or works from home. Is Froggy the right guy for you?
Adoption Update: Froggy was adopted on April 1st by one of the nicest families we've met in a long time. They were smitten with The Tadpole's good looks and charm (who wouldn't be?) and were so excited to make them a part of their family. We see lots of love in Froggy's future and we couldn't be more delighted. We look forward to hearing all about his new adventures and we're sure they'll soon be as crazy about him as we are.
