T.O.M. (The Old Man) now known affectionately as Tommy, was found wandering in circles one fall night in 2006. The angel that found him knew that he must have been dumped in her neighborhood, because he was blind, deaf, and completely emaciated. There is no way Tommy had the strengh or presence of mind to reach his location. Tommy's angel took him to her vet. He had infected sinuses, oronasal fistulas, and rotten teeth. Tommy's angel paid for his medical care (nothing but the best for her special boy!) and loved him and tried to put some meat back on his poor old bones. Tommy really needed a home where someone could be with him almost all the time because of his age and blindess. Reluctantly, knowing it was best for him, Tommy's angel brought him to us in hopes that we could find him a loving home to live out the rest of his days. We were able to do that and 6 months later, Tommy is the apple of his new owner's eye. He enjoys sleeping in the big bed, long naps in the sun, and cuddling with his new mom and dad. We love Tommy, the world's sweetest senior!
