Meet Lance, a very handsome 3 yr old Doxie. Lance is still waiting to live the good life. He had a very rocky start and can be a little uncertain and fearful in new situations.
Lance is afraid of new people and strange dogs at first. We have found that when new people come into the home and ignore him completely, often he'll initiate contact when he's ready.
If you are calm and patient and just give him a few moments, he'll quite often come to you for affection. Lance is great with the other 3 doxies in his foster home and is a very obedient guy
who can follow several commands. Lance would do best in a calm, doxie savy home without young children. We are looking for a family that will be willing to work with him.
You have to have time and patience to help Lance blossom. If you do, you'll be rewarded with an affectionate, obedient, and loyal companion.
