Meet Guinness. He and his sister Phoebe were origionally placed into rescue because their owners didn't have the time/attention to give to them.
After spending some time getting to know them, we decided to split them up. They both have shy/nervous tendencies and we felt that even though they clearly got along
and enjoyed each other, their nervous energy just didn't work together and being placed together was not in their best interest. We were right! Without his sister to do all the barking
and investigating for him, Guinness quickly came out of his shy shell at his new foster home. He is a charming snuggle muffin and just gives you the biggest puppy face until you can't stand it
and have to scoop him up and smother him with kisses. He loves to go for walks and spend time on your lap. He gets along very well with other doxies.
He really seems to be thriving on the structure and affection. He is smart, eager to please, and even cat friendly. Guinness' new owner will want to work
with him and help him feel more confident and we feel a home with a strong, confident doggie companion is best. Are you the right home for Guinness?
Adoption Update: Guinness has found a loving home! His new sister Emmy and his new mom and dad are so excited about adopting Guinness and can't wait to
start their new life together. They have promised to continue working with him with positive reinforcement training to boost his confidence and help him feel secure
and safe. They love his affectionate, sweet nature and want to surround him with the love and structure he truly deserves. We will miss you sweet boy, but we couldn't have
asked for a happier ending (or should we say beginning?) to your story!
