Chance is a handsome young fellow that was picked up as a stray. Chance seems to be very friendly towards
people of all ages. We think he was kept outside, because we really need to work on his house manners. His foster
dad says he's a smart, eager to please boy and is responding well to the structure and boundries in his foster home.
Chance will go in for a full physical, dental, and neuter on the 27th of October. We'll post more about his personality
as we get to know him.
Update: 11/24/08 Chance is really thriving in his foster home. We've learned that he LOVES attention, dogs of all
sizes, and shredding paper! We're continuing to work on his manners, but we think he's a pretty awesome young man. :-)
Adoption Update: 3/8/2009 Chance went to his forever home today. This lucky boy has a new sister named Zoey that is SO excited that
he has come to live with her. We see lots of playtime and love in Chance's future and look forward to seeing him with his new family at dachshund events in the future.

Update from Chance's Family: May 2009 I am sending a current photo of Chance and Zoey. As you can see they are getting along very well
and love to play and hang out together. Zoey has lost close to 2 pounds since Chance joined the family. We have gone on a week long vacation and he
did very well with the petsitter (she says they are so entertaining - she doesn't need to watch TV).
