Sheldon was picked up as a stray and taken to the Escondido Humane Society, so we don't know a lot about him yet. Sheldon is a little shy of new people at first but once you've gained his trust he is a very sweet boy. He is full of puppy energy and tries to get the other doxies in his foster home to play with him.
Sheldon needs a little polish on his housebreaking and he can be afraid of dogs that are not doxies. His foster family is working with him and they are making good progress. We will give updates as we learn more about Sheldon and what he needs.
Adoption Update: 1/16/2011: Sheldon went to his forever home today! Sheldon's new mom and dad couldn't be more excited about making him a part of their loving family and might even adopt another doxie brother to keep him company soon! Congratulations to everyone!!
