Gracie was turned into a local shelter with paralyzed rear legs and deep drag wounds. She was taken to a local hospital to assess her injuries and receive the medical care she needed. Upon discovering she wasn't a candidate for surgery, her benifactor asked us to find her a home. She has been adopted by loving family that is working on rehabilitating her. Gracie taught us SO much about the love and laughter a "downed" doxie can bring. We had no idea how amazing and loving and capable these little dogs could be.

Rosie was turned into a local shelter by her owner because "she barked." They said she was afraid of strangers and other dogs and would bark at them. She wore her foster brothers and sisters out playing and running laps in the back yard. She loves to cuddle and give kisses to her human caretakers. Wanting to be thorough, she ordered a full blood panel. Thank goodness! Cooper had liver disease. Cooper ended up needed surgery to repair a liver shunt that he had since birth.
